Cassatt’s: An Artful Arlington Cafe

May 20, 2015 4:02 pm

A bistro-style restaurant serving flavorful dishes in a cozy environment, Cassatt's is a cafe and gallery well worth a visit. Named after impressionist painter Mary Cassatt, it embraces artists from the community and always has their work on display.

Much like the works of art gracing the walls, the food here is presented in an equally artful way. The Flat White coffee is a big hit, with numerous visitors saying it's among the best that they've ever had. Gourmet sandwiches and salads make up the bulk of the lunch menu. If you're visiting for dinner, you'll be able to choose from dishes ranging from sea scallops with a corn and black bean cake to a succulent lamb steak in a marsala and fig sauce.

Cassatt's is a lively place with occasional live music, wine, and desserts inspired by the flavors of New Zealand.
